Wedding in December?

Yes. Wedding in December. My brother is getting married... but why in December? And why would you want to pick the week that falls between Christmas and New Years? All that snow as well! Plane ticket prices are up the ying yang that time of year and driving during that time is just pure torture. I'm happy for you two... but, as Gob would say (or any of the Bluth family) Come on!

All in all though, I am happy for him. He deserves this after all of the crazy, crazy girlfriends he has had. And he has had a few. So for him to find a non-crazy girl and a keeper is just great.

Anyways, we are going to be hearing back soon about one of the top homes that we put an offer in on. I hope we get it. It seems promising but you know how that goes.

I bought Alyssa the cutest thermals from Wal-mart and had her wear them last night to bed. SO CUTE. I will post a picture later... I am at work right now. But pink + DOGS = cutest thing ever.

Quickie

Not much to update on at the moment. Right now, Lance is asleep on the loveseat... Alyssa is in her crib and I am here on the sofa waiting for SNL to start.

We put 5 more offers out there on some homes we have seen. That makes a total of 6 homes with our offers on them. This is such a long and crazy process...

SNL is on... and it is hillarious... with Tina Fey as Palin... loves it... gotta go!

Birthdays, Homes and other things

Well - that house was a no go. But it got our feet wet in the pool of house buying, so that is a good thing to come out of it. We put in another offer on Monday on another... and so it goes. I just wonder how long this whole thing will take.

I would post more pictures, but I am at my parents house and don't have my camera here. Alyssa is getting so big though. So many big changes occur while I am at work. Now I know how Lance felt when I was at home with Alyssa for those first 3 months. And even still, sometimes he will get home and she will already have gone down for the night. But those nights make it even more perfect and ideal for him to wake up with her in the middle of the night if she wakes up. Too bad about 98% of the time, she sleeps all the way through. But really, it is a VERY good thing that she does that.

Right now, Alyssa and I both have the sniffles, so I hope Lance doesn't catch it. That would just be bad.

The 1st was my birthday! My lovely hubby got me a wii! It is so much fun. It makes me feel like we do so much more together now that we have it. Now it's not just "oh lets watch more tv together and not connect." I love playing games with him. And last night I was gifted a wii fit! So perfect. I love it. Love it love it love it!

That is all because my head is too cloudy to think of anything else to update about. :(
